What is Baluchari Saree?

The most well-known silk saree of Bengal is the BALUCHARI, a product of exquisite design and fabulous weaving. Produced in the town of Baluchar in the district of Murshidabad of West Bengal, Baluchari Sarees are rich and sophisticated and have wonderful colour harmony with intricate designs that mostly depict stories from India's ancient texts and epics.
